A very well-organised and friendly class, in an accessible village location.
Thank you Peter, a lovely well organised class, expert model, poses timed, tea breaks and cool background music.
Spent another satisfying morning drawing with a great group in well lit studio, with a terrific model and excellent tuition from wise Mike.
I have attended several life drawings sessions arranged by Peter. All have been excellent, with experienced models who have a most interesting range of poses - how they manage to hold them for as long as 45 minutes in the second half of the afternoon I shall never know. Some of my fellow artists produce excellent work in pencil, charcoal, watercolour, and pastel. I am highly envious because I couldn't be more disappointed in my ability, or lack of it! However, each session has been most enjoyable, welcoming, friendly, and sufficiently warm to relax whilst trying to capture the pose. I would certainly recommend coming to join us - sadly no Ducklington April session as it will be Easter but I most sincerely look forward to my next Sunday afternoon visit.
Spent another terrific session life-drawing - great tutor, model and studio.
A super group!! Wonderful atmosphere set with music and a relational and relaxed group, nice to have tea and biscuits! And of course a super model! Will come again!
Another really enjoyable session, well-organised, plenty of materials and equipment supplied. Excellent model who was also delightfully chatty during breaks.
Another lovely session this saturday morning spent drawing in Jericho with wise and helpful tutor, Mike and excellent model in good studion space.
I'm new to charcoals and life drawing, but wanted to take on the challenge of faces, limbs, hands and feet. My first session was brilliant. The first hour was spent on exercises, eg lighting sketches, then drawing with your non dominant hand, then drawing without letting the charcoal leave the paper. Then the second hour was spent on a long portrait. Paper and materials are all provided. If free on a Saturday this will be my go to place.
Great session!
